uncued

Terms of service

The short version: be kind, keep it yours.

Effective October 4, 2026

These terms cover your use of unCued, the memorization app at uncued.app, run by Jason Sproule ("we"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Your account

Your content

You own the recordings, text, and projects you add. You give us permission only to store, process, and play them back to you so the app can work. Only upload material you have the right to use, and don't upload anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

Plans

Free accounts can upload recordings up to five minutes long. Premium accounts have no length limit in the app, but are still subject to the server's file-size and storage limits. We may change what each plan includes, and we'll tell you before a change reduces what your plan offers.

Fair use

Don't try to access other people's accounts or content, disrupt or overload the service, or use unCued for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

The service

unCued is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own backups of important recordings; the app can export any track as a .byheart file. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for lost data.

Ending your account

You can stop using unCued at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing sproule.jason@gmail.com. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give account holders reasonable notice so they can export their tracks.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above, and for significant changes we'll let account holders know. Continuing to use unCued after a change means you accept the updated terms.
